We love God, love people, &

Make Disciples of Jesus Christ.

In The Essentials, Unity.

In The Non-Essentials, Liberty.

In All Things, Love.

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.(Genesis 1:1, 26-27, Genesis 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19)

The Bible

The Bible is God's word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because God inspires it, it is the truth without error. The Bible was not written only to educate us, but to change our lives. (Psalm 119:19, II Timothy 3:16)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.(Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:1-5, John 14:10-31, Romans 1:4)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily. (II Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, Ephesians 5:18, John 14:17)

People

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God. This attitude, called sin, separates people from God and causes many problems in life. (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2)

Salvation

We believe Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it.  We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works.  Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.  When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith making Him Lord over our lives, we are saved.  Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith and is Born-again into the Kingdom of God. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)

Eternity

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. (John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Romans 8:17-18, Revelation 20:15)

The Gospel

We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, by the seed of the Holy Spirit of God without benefit of a human male.  We believe that the death of Jesus on the cross was the acceptable substitute for the sins of man, accepted by God vicariously, one man, being fully God and fully man, dying for the sins of all men.  We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ alone is sufficient and acceptable to cover the sins of man and that without the blood of Christ, there is no remission.  We believe that Jesus died a literal death on the cross of Calvary, that his body lay in the tomb for three days, and that on the morning of the third day, He rose from the dead.  We believe that His resurrection was the final victory of all enemies and that there will be a final resurrection of all who have ever lived; some to eternal glory with Him and some to eternal damnation separate from Him.

In addition to Essential Beliefs, we have liberty in Non-Essential Beliefs.

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master servants stand or fall… So then each of us will give an account of ourselves to God… So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.
Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

"I have the right to do anything," you say--but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"--but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
1 Corinthians 10:23-4
